Airmen Network Spotlight: Airworthy Consulting
Airmen Technical Services is proud to present one of its key partners in the Airmen Network: Airworthy Consulting.
The Airmen Network is a carefully selected group of aviation specialists offering services across training, compliance, technical consultancy, engineering support, and project delivery. All services are fully mobilised and delivered on-wing or onsite, depending on the customer’s operational requirements. Members include experts in regulatory approvals, safety systems, and workforce development. The Network supports complex modification programmes, enables the deployment of mobile technical teams, and delivers maintenance and repair capabilities across global locations.
Airworthy Consulting exemplifies the standard of precision, reliability, and expertise the Network is designed to represent.
Airworthy Consulting is a training consultancy with a solid foundation in regulatory compliance and a growing reputation for its work with Part-145 Maintenance Repair Organisations, Part 147 training organisations, aviation colleges, and independent providers. Over the last year, the consultancy has steadily expanded its services and client base through consistent delivery and recognised subject matter expertise.
About Airworthy Consulting
Airworthy Consulting was established in 2024 by Matt Siggens, a highly experienced training and compliance specialist with a background in both civil and military aviation. With over 20 years of experience working on C-130, business aviation and wide-body MRO programmes, Matt brings strategic leadership, deep technical knowledge, and hands-on expertise to the organisations he supports.
The consultancy offers support to:
- Part-145 Maintenance Repair Organisations
- Part 147 training organisations
- Independent training providers and further education colleges
- Maintenance and business jet operators
Service areas include:
- Development and maintenance of regulatory approvals
- Building training and induction programmes
- Strengthening compliance processes and safety management systems
- Leadership of regulatory and technical training strategies under UK CAA, EASA, and EMAR frameworks
- Specialisation in C130 Hercules training and military aviation compliance
Airworthy Consulting brings a practitioner-led approach to aviation training. Its services are grounded in first-hand industry experience and a clear understanding of regulatory requirements. This ensures that clients receive tailored guidance and practical support to meet both operational needs and compliance obligations.
Matt Siggens has worked extensively in civil and military training environments, including a successful EMAR 147 approval application process; an experience that remains rare in the UK training sector. EMAR (European Military Aviation Regulation) includes standards not covered by civil aviation, including secure communications and mission-critical systems. This gives Airworthy Consulting a distinct capability to support defence-aligned training programmes alongside civil aviation operations.
Matt is an active participant in a number of UK Government, Industry, Regulator and Education working groups, enabling him to remain current on trends whilst also contributing to their outcomes.
Why Airmen Works With Airworthy Consulting
Airworthy Consulting is a valued member of the Airmen Network. One of the ways they add real value is in how they complement and strengthen Airmen’s wider project delivery. When Airmen deploy contracted personnel or assemble a technical team, Airworthy can enhance the onboarding process with structured aircraft type training, technical upskilling, training needs analysis, and competence assessments. This ensures that outsourced or embedded teams integrate more effectively into the customer’s operations.
Their experience in both civil and military aviation frameworks means they are equipped to support organisations operating across different regulatory environments. Whether preparing for audit, developing internal training, or embedding compliance into day-to-day operations, Airworthy brings a steady, informed approach.
This ability to align technical training and compliance support with operational delivery is why they are a strategic partner. Their practical focus, clarity in execution, and familiarity with regulated environments makes them a valuable extension of what the Network can offer.
Part of the Airmen Network
The Airmen Network represents a broad range of capabilities across the aviation sector. Members contribute to maintenance, repair, modification, training, and compliance programmes worldwide. The Network supports operators of a wide range of platforms, including Airbus, Boeing, Lockheed C‑130, and Blackhawk.
A key advantage of working through the Airmen Network is that each provider is pre-vetted. Airmen have already reviewed technical capabilities, delivery history, and client references. In most cases, pricing has also been pre-negotiated, offering better commercial terms than working with providers individually.
Beyond individual expertise, the Network enables joined-up delivery. Multi-service projects can be coordinated across several affiliates and delivered either at the customer’s site, at a training facility, or on-wing. Whether the requirement is training, engineering, or a combination of both, Airmen can mobilise a full solution quickly and reliably.
This structure gives clients flexibility and confidence when facing capability gaps, technical challenges, or scaling requirements, without having to build relationships from scratch.
The decision to include a partner is based on several factors, including technical capability, industry reputation, and a commitment to the highest of standards. Airworthy Consulting meets all of these criteria and contributes meaningfully to the Network’s goal of raising operational and compliance standards across the aviation sector.
Airworthy’s inclusion strengthens the Network’s offer in training and regulatory support. Clients seeking consultancy services in these areas can rely on the consultancy’s professionalism, deep technical knowledge, and collaborative working style.
If your organisation needs Airworthy’s support, or if your existing network isn’t delivering what you need, get in touch. Whether it’s regulatory consultancy, training delivery, technical project teams or something more complex, the Airmen Network is here to support you.
